LASH WIDE CALF

I had a pair of Lash boots before the wide calf came out and they were just a bit too small for my calves which is always the case for me. I was finally able to get a pair of the WC and it's been worth even the extra fees to ship them to the US. Could not be happier!! I can lace these fully closed the way I wanted to and they fit perfectly even if I wanted to wear them over jeans. I knew from before that while I am usually a 42 I needed a 44 in these (could probably have done 43 but I like wearing thicker socks with these). As everyone else said, it really would be helpful to have a side zipper for easy on/off but I know with these being leather they will last me a long time. For what it's worth, my calves are just under 17 inches and if you email customer service, they can tell you exactly how large the calf opening is on each size (as it gets larger, the higher you go in size). Well done, ROC!

I love these boots! I only wish they come with a zip like the Tulsa boots. I'd wear them all the time if I didn't have to calculate the likelihood of me having to take them off. I'm so glad that they come with the half size insert as one of my feet is a half size bigger than the other, it made me feel more secure when buying them.

As a VERY big calf girlie, it's always hard to find boots that fit. Add to that long, narrow fit and well, let's just say I haven't owned any boots for some time. When I first ordered, I went 1 size up as suggested by most reviews but they were still too small. The exchange process was easy and I end up going up to the 44. Now, they are perfect! I can still fit an arch support in and the laces do up to the top. For someone who doesn't wear heels, I feel supported and safe in these.
