LASH WIDE CALF

My amazing husband recently purchased me a little black dress and that meant I needed an amazing pair of boots to go with it. However when you have wide calves the struggle is real. However I saw this brand mentioned on Instagram (I forget the name of the influencer) and I then checked out the website . When I saw these lace up ones it was love at first sight. It was also a big investment for me. So I triple read every review. The sizing up advice was on point by the way (I'm usually a size 39 but ordered a 40 and they fit perfectly). I took the plunge and ordered them. I was not disappointed. Wow, they are gorgeous, and comfy. The heel and platform is perfect so you don't feel like your tottering around on heels. They look awesome with my lbd and they will also work with other dresses I have. I'm actually planning my wardrobe around them now. They are definitely worth every penny and are a great investment piece

These are amazing! I’ve always wanted knee high boots but never found a pair that fit due to my calves until now. I had been eyeing off the original pair for some time before a wider fit was available and hesitated, but then when the release for a wide range was announced, I knew I had to get a pair. I have no regrets what so ever, worth the money as they are great quality, and to my suprise very comfortable. I wore them to a concert recently and lasted almost 5 hours standing before I felt a little discomfort. If I had worn any other boots with heels, I would have been regretting my choice way earlier into the night. I decided to get size 41. For comparison, I’m usually a size 8.5 (39-40) but decided to size up due to recommendations as the sizing apparently runs on the smaller side, and it was a perfect fit! Very happy, I love them so much!! 💕

It's been a battle the last decade to find boots that fit/suit my calves. They measure 40cm, and these LASH WC boots are perfect! I'm 152cm short so they dig in behind the knees if I squat, but everything else about them make it so worth it.

After lacing them up, there is still room around the calves, perfect for thick socks or wearing them over jeans. My feet are super wide, but they fit comfortably (I got one size up. I'm a size 8 AUS and got these in size 40). They don't look gigantic at all, like some do when sizing up.

If you're worried about the laces taking too much time, there is a trick that'll get you laced up/down in 30 secs or less! Start by holding both laces from the bottom two nodes on one side. Pull the laces tight throughout, pull them over across the opposite side under two nodes, and repeat on alternate sides, two nodes at a time. I tuck the rest of the laces under the boots around the calves.

I was hesitant in my purchase due to the price tag, but I promise you, shopping at ROC will be your best investment that'll go a long way! These LASH boots are actually my third "try". I first bought the IDAHO WC, but they were too big on my calves and didn't look "seamless". I then exchanged them for the regular IDAHO, but they're a little tight on the calves. I love my Roc boots. Interestingly, I’m in the position of replacing a very similar pair that must have been at least 20 years old, which I found in an op shop when I was a teenager. They were my favourite boots in the world, and I wore them everywhere over the years. They wore extremely well and I never needed to do more than polish them to keep them in beautiful condition (never needed to resole them or anything else, and they were only missing a few eyelets). They were stolen a few years ago and I decided to replace them, but my calves are fatter now, so I was holding off, and debating getting a lower fit (like the chisel). The new wide calf fit is PERFECT. I did go up two sizes in the footbed because my feet are wide. The length is great, but these shoes run NARROW. I still could have afforded to go up another whole size, honestly! I’m secure in the knowledge that a quality pair of leather shoes like this will stretch a little and end up fitting like a glove, and I’ve already worn them for hours at a time without getting any rubbing, blisters, or discomfort aside from the fit being a little narrow across the tops of my foot. In direct comparison with my old roc boots, I think the leather is a little bit thinner, but the quality is otherwise faultless and the calf is perfectly fitted (and I have WIDE calves).
